Fishing in Quepos is always stellar. Seasonally, top bill fishing is going strong by early December. Huge waves of sailfish move through the Quepos waters and meet up with marlin. When our season hits peak, releases of 12 to 20 fish a day are not uncommon.

Hard to believe but it is true that a few days every year we have 30 or more releases. Last year, Quepos had one of the best sailfish seasons in many years.

Heavy fishing action continues through April on sailfish, as well as blue, black and striped marlin. Depending on seasonal conditions you could be fishing for these well into summer. Additionally, if your looking for trips out of Quepos several boats offer multi-day excursions to Drake Bay and Caños Island areas.
